MS Photo Editor

I am not sure this is the right place to come to, but hopefully someone here
can help.

On my boss's computer he has Windows 2000 with Office 2000 installed. The
problem is that when he clicks on a picture attachment to an email, the
program MS Photo Editor does not come on. When he goes to the Task Manager,
it says the program is running, but it is not. He has a fairly new computer
and most certainly has enough memory.

Any suggestions on how to fix this or is a clean install of Office 2000
necessary?

TIA

Hi Shelly,

There are a couple of possibilities. One is that Photo Editor is running but is off screen. See if right clicking on the Windows
taskbar and choosing 'cascade windows' brings it into view.

If its showing in Task Manager, after highlighting, end Task Btn.
It will be running, allthough you cannot see it on the desktop.
Before doing a reinstall, with no other Apps running, end any in the task
bar, perform the repair office option. After this visit Office Update site
and scan yr installation.
Personally I found MS Photo Editor a bit of a flacky app.
