MS Photodraw Application has encountered a problem and needs to cl

On opening Photodraw2000 in an XP environment ,I get the above message

The "more infomation" is :-

I have reinstalled the program twice but have never got beyond the licence
splash box before it fails.

Anyone any ideas on how to fix this

As a rejoinder I also get a similar message when I close Outlook2000
