MS Photoshop problem - Office XP

I attempted to download the new trial version of MS Word 2007 and I believe
it corrupted my MS Photoshop. To correct this I've reinstalled MS Office XP
but, Photoshop still can't read a simple JPEG. It was working fine until the
attempted download. I say attempted because it aborted. My MS Word 2002
still works fine.
Just the Photoshop "Can't read file" problem.

Any ideas?

There isn't a Microsoft Photoshop. There is an Adobe Photoshop, perhaps
get out the Adobe Photoshop CD and reinstall it. The issue isn't with
Office.
