MS Project 2003 Install Issue?

I'm having a very strange problem, wondering if anyone else has seen it
and (hopefully) licked it.

I have MS Project 2003 Pro instealled on my laptop, which is also a
development box (e.g., VS.NET, NetBeans, PHP, etc.). Up until a couple
of weeks ago, everything worked fine. Now when I open Project, I get a
red "X" in a box (like a missing picture in a web browser). I can open
and save project files (seemingly), but I cannot view them or change
from Gantt to another view - nothing happens.

Any ideas?
