MS Project 2003 Tables Explanation Needed

Could someone point me in the direction to explain the relationship between
the MS Project Professional Tables and Project Server's tables? - Is there
any documentaion on how they interact? Our company had someone create our own
Portfolio Analyzer (this one is up to the minute compared to Microsoft's
which is updated once a day) that is ODBC'd into 8 MSP tables and 2 MSP_VIEW
tables. We are having some data issues and I believe it has to do with which
tables are linked. I would appreciate any feedback that would point me
towards an article, book- etc on this topic.

Have you also looked in the help directory on your server? There are two
documents there that will help: prjdb.htm and svrdb.htm
