MS Project 2003 Visual Basic Error

Marilyn

Every time I try to open the Visual Basic Editor in Project I get the
following message: "File Not Found." I click Ok on the message and the VB
Editor opens, however, every time I go to open the Editor that message
appears. I'm not opening any particular Project file, I'm simply launching
the application and then I try to open the Visual Basic Editor through Visual
Basic toolbar.

Another thing is that when I close out of the Editor I get the "MS
Project encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the
Inconvenience."

I tried a Detect and Repair and the same thing happens

Does Project have the equivalent of the "Normal.Dot" so that I could rename
it and let it create a new one? Is there a "regserver" syntax for project?

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

First thing to eliminate is once the VBE is open, click Tools, References.
Do any of the references that are checked have a MISSING message in the
lower part of the dialog? You will need to select each checked option in
turn though there should only be 4 or 5.

The resolution was to delete the windows profile and t hat fixed the issue.
I'm curious as to what it would have meant if any of the references had a
missing message at the bottom.

Rod, thanks for the response
