MS Project Activation

Reba1991

I have a question regarding Product Activation and MS Project Standard 2003.

Our licensed copy of this product was installed and activated on the laptop
of one of our employees. However, this individual no longer has need of this
software and we would like to install the product on another employee’s
machine.

How does this work with product activation? If the software is uninstalled
from the first machine before being installed on the second machine, is that
sufficient to allow the software to be activated on the second machine?

If not, what are the other steps required to transfer this software from one
computer to another?

Thanks.

This type of question should be answered by Microsoft directly, instead of
through a newsgroup. Very seldom do any Microsoft employees answer questions
here. Try contacting Microsoft customer service and posing the question to
them.

Hi Reba1991,

I suggest checking with directly with Microsoft. They can best guide you
about how to ensure you are not violating their End-User license agreement.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
