In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup as this newsgroup is closing down.
To answer your questions:
1. If you want to hide link lines in Microsoft Project Professional, click
Format - Layout. In the Layout dialog, select the first option in the Links
section and then click OK. There is no default method of hide link links in
PWA, however.
2. To hide rows in Microsoft Project Professional, the only way to do this
is to apply a Filter that displays only the rows you wish to see, and hides
rows that you don't want to see. Therefore, before you create the Filter,
you must develop some way of identifying which tasks to show and which tasks
to hide. You might consider using the task Marked field for this purpose.
Set the value of Marked to Yes for any task to show, and then create a
Filter to show tasks where Marked = Yes. You can also apply AutoFilter and
then use it to filter on the Marked column as well.
Hope this helps.
