Sounds like your Project Server 2007 qeue service is not running. Can you
please check and if required may restart the qeue services of project server.
That should push the project update through the qeue and allow you to work on
the project again
Let me know if that worked
thanks

Project Getting Queued problem

I tried to restart Queue service but Queue still happen.

then i setting registry like this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ProjectQueueService
Create a new Multi-String Value called DependOnService
Make it's value MSSQL$OFFICESERVERS or the approrpiate name of your SQL
Server instance

but i dont know what should do after setting this. (do i need to restart
queue service and Sql service after setting this?? i dont know)

finally i restart server, iis, and Database.
then this problem gone.

any suggestion?
or any Queue setting for improvement performance?

thanks

Difficult to say what has happened. I would certainily review the event logs
and see if any errors occur in the event log. This may give you more of an
idea what is happening
thanks

I should add that it remains a good idea to separate the database server
from the front end in any SharePoint configuration. The single-box approach
is fine for development, but an isolated SQL environment is highly stable,
where IME, web platforms, WSS no exception, can meltdown under stress and
change. It's much easier to recover from this when there's separation
between church and state.
