MS Project Reports

I am creating a report of tasks that start within a window in time, how do
you print the report to a file or cut into a MS application e.g. Word, Excel

Project2007 has some nice visual reporting tools that wake up Excel or Visio.
As for Project2003, the only way to export a "report" is to a printer. You
can install a PDF writer (they are available online, some for free) which
acts as a printer and creates a PDF as output.

There are commercially available products that will allow you to convert
from PDF and import into Excel, Word, Powerpoint. They are available at your
local big box PC Store or Office Supply place.
