MS-Project server licencing

Hi,

This is a question about transferring MS-Project server licences

I am going to be managing an MS-Project Server 2003 implementation at
a small company. The main aims beyond normal project scheduling are:

1. Centralised resource pool for all projects so resource availability
/ utilisation is up-to-date and (hopefully) avoid dual-allocation of
resources
2. Intranet & Internet access of resources to complete weekly
time-sheets against assigned work (must allow for effort expended
beyond initial estimates and two-stage acceptance of time-sheets by
the manager)

The company has an existing 2003 Server that can be re-used for this
MS-Project server implementation (since another product is to be
migrated to a larger server).

I want a trial implementation and testing to be performed on a third
machine as the developer/implementer will not have access all the time
to the target MS-Project server machine. How do I find out if I can
buy an MS-Project server licence for one server and transfer it to a
second – where only one licence is active at any time?
