MS project TIMEPHASED_DATA.TD_UNITS

Hello,

I noticed that MS Project saves records in timephased_data with
different time units. Can anyone tell me the logic behind that? I was
expecting to have the same units for every records...
How can I get the workload by days if the records is in 'month' units?
