MS Querry for Excel

I am working with some external data in excel(from DBF File). I have
succeeded in getting the data in Excel. But I donot have command over
issues like retrieving selective fields, retrieving filtered data
(based on some condition on any field), adding additional field (which
is based/calculated from one the field in DBF file), etc.

Can anyone please tell me any group / web site where I can learn the
syntax and do all this in Edit Querry in Excel.

hi,
what are you trying to do?
you can put parameters in the MSQ to filter the external
data. and you can put xl forumala beside the query table.
Post back with more info.
