Hello . . .
I am working with a MS Query to return results to an
Excel spreadsheet. The query is connected to a database
on the network. My question: do I have to provide users
with rights and/or a drive mapping with rights to that
folder? The database is in a secure file area with
limited access. When I try to execute the query when I
have a drive mapped to the DB everything is fine. If I
disconnect the mapped drive, it fails.
Can I use a UNC path in a query? Is there a better way to
approach this than through Excel? I'm basically looking
for a way to display a list of information from an
existing Fox Pro database.
