You might want to visit http://www.pptfaq.com/ and search on "Naresh".

Naresh Nichani and Brian Reilly have contributed several articles and
example files that demonstrate reading data from a database (Access in
this case) into PPT from within PPT.

You might be able to adapt that to your needs.
