Hi,
I have downloaded the trial version but when i click on it to activate
nothing happens. Ihave not been able to activate, have many times installed
and uninstalled but to no avail. pl help

Hi Alks,

Are you able to open and use the Office 2007 apps at all, but just not activate, or not able to install it at all, or ?????

If it doesn't install then the download you have may be incomplete or damaged.

What version of Windows are you using?

I am having the same issue as Alks. I am able to open the Office 2007 aps
but not use them. I ran the Microsoft Office Diagnostics. Update Diagnostic -
Unable to access a required file. "The update diagnostic was unable to run
because it requires a file you have chosen not to download. To give Microsoft
Office permission to download this file, do one of the following in one of
the 2007 office release programs: (1) Click the Microsoft Office Button, then
click Program Name options (2) Select the "Download a file periodically that
helps determine system problems" check box (3) Wait about a WEEK to allow the
file to be downloaded, and then run Diagnostics again.
Wait about a week to allow the file to be downloaded ?!? What is that all
about. I am frustrated and ready to uninstall. I can't even find a "Help"
button in Word, so that I can navigate around in the very alien and un-user
friendly Taskbar !
