MS Wireless Keyboard: func keys not working in OL 2003??

I use the MS Wireless Multimedia keyboard, which has the special function
keys labeled NEW, OPEN, CLOSE, REPLY, FWD, SEND, etc. These worked fine in
Outlook 2002. But, I've now upgraded to OL 2003, and the function keys no
longer work at all.

They do work in other programs, so the keyboard is functioning properly.
Only Outlook 2003 does not respond.

Please advise??
