MS Word 2000 Installation error message

Suddenly my MS Word 2000 stopped working. When I tried
to re-install it, I got the following error message:

Internal Error 2735:
CatInstall.workscor.FDB9176F_F830_1102_9ADD_0060BOEC3D2E

I am almost 70 years old and need some kind person to
help me!!!

Error 2735 means there was an error reading from the Office 2000 CD-ROM, possibly because the CD-ROM is dirty, damaged, or defective. Microsoft's suggested solution is to clean your CD-ROM with a commercially available CD-ROM cleaner and scratch remover. If cleaning the CD-ROM does not work, contact Microsoft or your local vender to obtain a replacement copy.
