MS Word 2002...Bullet Holes glitch

Good Afternoon folks:


I have MS Word 2002 and have a small glitch.

My document bullet-holes print out as checkmarks or arrows or the like.

Even from Microword documents emailed to me from others.

Looks terrible on a resume and I am looking for work.

I have deleted and reinstalled both MS Word2002 and my
Samsung printer ML 4600.

No change.

Can someone help me?

Either the wrong font has been assigned to the bullets, or the required font
(usually Wingdings) is not installed. Or, if the bullets display correctly
but print incorrectly, it could be that your printer is set to use only
resident fonts. You could check the printer properties to see if there is a
setting for "Print TrueType fonts as graphics" or "Download TrueType fonts
as soft fonts" or the like.
