Hi! Everytime I open MS Word it opens a small window, not full screen. I'm
sure it's a simple problem to fix but I don't know how. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you!! :)

Thanks for the quick reply! However, when I click maximize it maximizes the
current window, but if I close Word and open it again, it still opens in a
small window rather than maximized. :(

I'm not talking about maximizing the window once it's opened. Did you right
click on the *icon*?

Please excuse me for being ignorant of what you are trying to tell me. I
just clicked on Start and then right clicked on the Microsoft Word icon "W"
and selected Properties. In the Run line it says "Maximized". Again, sorry
if I'm not doing what you're asking me to do.

Stretch the box to your liking when open and then close it Open it again and tell us if the size is retained to the size that you stretched it to.

Computers are wonderful when they work properly and logically. The problem
is that my definition of properly and logically doesn't always mesh with the
computer's definition.

Amen to that! I remember back in the early '80s when I got my first computer
at work. One of my first thoughts was this was merely a "dumb" machine that
knows nothing but zeros and ones but I also said that before long these
"dumb" machines are going to rule us. We were going to become their slaves.
AND WE ARE!!!
