MS Word crashed with an error in MSO9.dll anyone know?

My microsoft word will not open, every time I try to open word it tells me
there is an error in MSO9.dll and to restart my computer. I have restarted,
rebooted, and even reinstalled the program from both Office 97 and Microsoft
Works 2000. Is there any suggestions on how to fix?
