When I write a function definition using the MS-Word equation editor, e.g. f(x) = (x - 4)^2, save
the document, and reopen it, the beginning letter f is gone, leaving just (x) = (x - 4)^2.
Any idea why this is happening, or what I can do to prevent it?
Using Word 2007 SP3 under Vista Home Premium SP2.
