MS Word: Insert Field: auto version history

M

Is there any Field in Microsoft Word (i.e. when you do Insert>Field)
that can be used to give an auto-version history?

E.g. there is a field that will automatically enter today's date. I
want a field that auto-completes with all changes done to a document,
when the document is saved. For example,

Text change page 7
Deletion page 10
Insert graphic page 15

Anything that comes close to this?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
mindful

There isn't such a field and the only way revisions to a document are
tracked is if Track Changes is turned on. That may do what you want
since you can print just the list of tracked changes: File/Print and
under Print What, select "List of Markup".

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
