MS Word: mouse cursor doesn't react to a table

I

Ivan Orlov

Hi, there!

if I created a table in MS Word and move mouse on it, the mouse cursor
doesn't react on the table.
it is not becoming a vertical line but remains still black arrow as
early, table handler (small sign in the upper left corner) also
doesn't appear.
Is problem somewhere in settings? I've got a MS Office X under Mac OS
X.

thanks in advance
Ivan

G'day (e-mail address removed) (Ivan Orlov),

I believe zooming in, a bit of patience and cursor waving may solve
your problem.

(e-mail address removed) (Ivan Orlov) was spinning this yarn:

thanks, Word,

I just tried your idea, it doesn't work unfortunately.

when I click mouse on table, it selects entire cell or row
bit doesn't allow to type something inside. could they be blocked
somehow? the funny point is on my notebook with same Office
(identical release) this option works properly.

regards, ivan

G'day "Ivan P. Orlov" <[email protected]>,

hmmmm. I have a feeling there are some weird "snap" options in XP I
havent fully explored yet (I avoid XP like the plague) that may be
causing the problem. I am just guessing in the dark but :)
