MS Word Settings

I'm trying to set MS Word 2002 so that
1) I DON'T see normally invisible "right angle" marks in each corner
denoting margins
2) I DO see the margins or marks or individual labels in Mail Merge. I
used to be able to see them, but now they're invisible.

Tools | Options | View and remove checkmark in Text Boundaries.
