I hope someone can help me out. I have received emails with forms that I
need to fill out and return back to them. I do not have Word or Office. I'm
on Windows XP. The form come in Word Viewer and PDF.
I would like to just type in the forms and email back to them.
Instead I print, write and fax. (time consuming)
Thanks,
Michelle

A Viewer isn't going to do much for you, especially if the form being
sent wasn't designed to be "filled in on the computer".

If you only have Word Viewer, you can't edit a document. If the .pdf file
isn't set up to be a fillable form, you can't do antyhing with it unless you
have an editor, like Acrobat (not the free Reader).

You don't state what Word Processor you have, if any. OpenOffice
(http://www.openoffice.org/index.html) is free and will open most Word
documents (I'm not sure about .docx format) and allow you to edit them

Since you have a PDF version of the form, open it in Adobe Reader and check
if the author made the forms fillable.
If you do not have Adobe Reader or another PDF reader, you should. Adobe
Reader is a free download from:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
or go to Adobe.com and follow the links.
