MS Word

MS Word 2000.

If I open a word *.doc by clicking on the document, opens
without a problem.

Then if I go to print or close the file, the top bar is
blinking its blue color.

Program stops responding, I have to CNTL-ALT-DEL and close
the program.

If I open MS Word 1st, then open the *.doc file, I don't
have a problem.

Any ideas?

If you are running Norton AntiVirus, disable its Office Plug-in (Options |
Miscellaneous).
