MS words does not shutdown after sending e-mail

Hi;

I have just upgraded my office 2003 with SP1, since then when ever I send
an e-mail words stays active in task manger even after shuting down outlook.
Any reason why and a solution from it please?

Possibly your global templates, but using Word from Outlook is always
incredibly bad practice for a number of reasons.
