Hello Rowiga..thanx for your reply, but the problem is that, I made the
changes as you told and specified
Forms.Formname.Textboxname in the query, but its giving me an error, now
my question is that , its not able to take teh input from the forms text
box, even though i mentioned it in the query and attached it to teh query
and then attached it to teh search button n teh form by right clicking and
going to properties and then events and attached the macro to teh onclick
event, do i have to put in soem code in teh vba(of the form) so that teh
form input is recognised, or should i run teh query from the vba, I mean
there is a method of running teh sql query from the vba..i hope you can put
some light on this..waiting for ur reply..thanx
