MSDE possible as backend for MS Project?

Continuing on the same thread as earlier can MSDE (free & handles upto 2GB)
be used as backend for MS Project?

Read my reply in the other thread.
Any ODBC data base can.
Just that there is no need for it.

You might want to read the license agreement for MSDE. Unless the license
has changed recently, MSDE is only to be distributed with an application
developed with specific tools (such as Visual Studio). Use of MSDE with
Project as you intend wouldn't be authorized.
