Hi,

Is it possible to use Project Server 2003 with a MSDE
database instead of MySQL, for a demonstration ?

Thanks for all your answers,

Sebastien.

Hi,

Yes, but you don't get analysis services with MSDE so can't demonstrate some
of Project Web Access' functionality such as the portfolio analyzer.

For VBA posts, please use the public.project.developer group.
For any version of Project use public.project
For any version of Project Server use public. project.server

Also ... just in case confusion to others reading this thread ...
Project Server will not work with MySQL, which is a well-regarded open
source database server product from MySQL.com. You need Microsoft's SQL
Server, or Microsoft's MSDE (with the limitations as mentioned by Rod).

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
