MSHFlexGrid trusted error in Access 2007 runtime

Jeff Spears

I have an application that I originally built in Access 2000 but have
upgraded to 2007 to gain compatibility with Vista. I distribute the
application with the Access 2007 runtime. When it runs on the target system
there is a message that my control MSHFlexGrid has been disabled because of
security settings. I've checked the registry to find that the folder
containing my database and my control is trusted. Any ideas to help me?

Try enabling the macro.

Go to Office Button – Access Options – Trust Center – Click Trust Center
Settings button – In Trust Center left pane, select Marco Settings – select
radio button “Enable all marcos (not recommended; potentially dangerous code
can run)

Not a good option, but hopefully will work in your case.
