MSJet32.dll and IPF while compacting a database

I have tried to compact an Access 97 database and during
the compact process, it gives an error message indicating
that MSJet32.dll has an IPF at a certain address. I was
wondering if this an issue with the Access program (I have
loaded the SR2 upgrade) or the database itself and how
could I have this resolved.

This is likely a problem with the MDB although that is not one of the
standard messages. You could try compacting Northwind.MDB.

Do you have Jet 3.5 SP 3 installed?

Try importing the MDB into a new MDB. Otherwise see the Corruptions
FAQ at my website.
