MSO.DLL error message

When running Powerpoint (Office XP), I have an error
message stating 'Faulting application powerpoint.exe,
version 10.0.2623.o, faulting module mso.dll, version
10.0.4219.0, fault address 0x004517cc.'. Then I'm offered
to open Powerpoint in safe mode. Then Powerpoint quits and
that's all. I tried to search all the KB without finding
any clue for this error except a hot fix concerning Word.
Any idea ? Thanks a lot for helping if anyone could.
