MSOXMLED.EXE using CPU

Hi,

I've recently installed Office 2007. I've found elsewhere while
googling that MSOXMLED.EXE is a "helper program that determines what
office program to use to open an xml file." Well, when I right click
and select *Edit* on an XML file, Notepad opens it up, which is as
expected. I've noticed that when I do this, MSOXMLED.EXE uses upwards
of 50% CPU for several seconds. I'd like it to not do this. I
understand if I double click or use the Open contect menu command that
it may need to figure out the app to open it with, but I have
distinctly associate notepad to the Edit context menu command, and
don't see why MSOXMLED.EXE needs to do what it is doing.

Any ideas how I can do this?

Thanks.

Tony

disregard, apparently the O2k7 installer associates the Edit context
command with MSOXMLED.EXE. I've reset it to notepad.
