MSP 2003 Pro against MS Project Server 2002

I've recently upgraded my client to MS Project 2003, but
my MS Project Server is still 2002. Now, I can't approve
my timesheets and update the project on MSPS. I get a
message that "...the MSPS2002 database has not been
upgraded to contain the additional fields required by the
new features in Project Professional 2003."

A knowledge base article suggests that saving the project
in MS Project 2003 will resolve the problem, but it
didn't. I'm using an MPP file, not saving my plan in the
database.

Anyone else had this problem? How do I resolve?

Kenneth:

If you're using an MPP, you're not saving an enterprise project. If you're
logging on to Project Server, your session will be governed by Project
Server behaviors. You must do as the KB says and upgrade your 2002 server
for use with Project Pro 2K3.
