MSP allocates tasks to resource when they are on holiday

Hi,

MSP Proejct has allocated a task to a resource despite the fact that the
resources is on holiday and its defined in their resource calendar.
is there a way to ensure msp does not allocat tasks to a resource when they
are specified as not working?
I dont want to resource level (long story as to why!) and I dont want to
manaully adjust task start start dates/durations.

Hi Confused,

Project does not allocate any work to a resource during his/her nonworking
time UNLESS THE TASK HAS A TASK CALENDAR assigned with the option "ignore
resource calendars"
