MSP Default Project Template

How would you get rid of MSP default template "Project 1" on open but load
the Enterprise template instead?

Here's how:

1. Launch Microsoft Project Professional and log into Project Server
2. Close the Project1 template
3. Click File - New
4. In the sidepane on the left, click the "On my computer" link
5. Select the Enterprise Templates tab
6. Select the desired enterprise project template and click OK
7. Click Tools - Options
8. Select the General tab
9. Select the "Open last file on startup" option and click OK

Try changing your Project shortcut to use startup commands. For example
winproj.exe /s "http://server/projectserver" "<>\filename.published".

This first connects Project to the server instance then opens the designated
file.
