MSP won't assign certain days for a resource

Hi,

I have a resource that MSP will NOT assign a certain week's worth of work
for these tasks. There are no predecessors to the tasks and his Work
Calendar is clear.

When I try to force those the resource to work those days (via the Resource
Sheet) by entering the hours in the "Work" Row, it enters the amount in the
"Actual Work" row as well.

Any thoughts as to why it refuses to schedule these days for this resource?

I had seen this problem earlier. Delete the resource, and the task, and add
both again, and it will work. I hope

Is it for specific tasks or all of them?

Is there any actual work in the future with respect to the date for
which you want to schedule work?

Is there any pattern to the days for which it won't schedule the work?
