MSP2007 crashes when adding/removing resources to tasks

For no logical reason, the client inconsistently crashes and throws
out an error message that it has to shut down and provides an option
to send or not send an error report to Microsoft.

What's the deal? Any patches for the client that I should apply?

Thanks,

This appears to be a feature of MSP 2007.

Michelle:

The only way to clean up the cache with certainty in pre-SP1 2K7, is to
delete it. I suspect that the clean-up routines are the source of the cache
problems. Sometimes, and I emphasize "sometimes" the cleanup works, but
you're still playing roulette.
