MSPS7 - How to migrate project server configuration

Hi,

I would like to migrate the configuration of the project server (ent.
custom fields, outline codes, views on PWA, all setting which are not
included in the enterprise global template, but they are configurable
through the PWA and stored somewhere.

we have implemented development environment and need it to deploy into test
and then into running operation. what next, we would like to develop new
configuration in the development environment and migrate it to the test and
running operation.

how is it possible to do it ?

Sorry Patrick, my last post only moved PS03 data from one 03 environment to
another one. Is this what you actually wanted to do?

Hi patrik,

there is no easy way of doing this, but there is a tool out there that
allows you to do exactly what you want to do. You may want to check it out:

The tool is called "Microsoft Project 2003 Configurations Manager"

the tool is mentioned for 2003 but we are running 2007 project server, and
it is different.

is there any idea ?

Patrik, we also have this problem. We are constructing a tool for
migration the database configuration backup [ARCHIVE] to other
database (Develop, QA, Production, Training, etc...
As soon as possible we will distribute this tool.
