MSQuery and formula in adjacent files

I have some columns to the left of some Query data. When the query is
refreshed, It is not copying the formula down in the adjacent columns. I
have went into the "External Data Range Properties" and checked the box to
"fill down formula in adjacent cells", but it still doesn't seem to work.
Is it because the columns are to the left of the query?

The 'Fill down formulas' setting only affects formulas to the right of,
or within, the external data range.
