Hi
I have installed SQL Server on a box running W2003.
The server will accept Named Pipes connections but not TCP/IP
I have been in the Client and Sever Network Utility and checked the
configurations.
I have checked the Port both in SQL and in the registry.
I have cehcked the log and it says it is accepting just Named Pipes and
Shared Memory.
I have run Portqry and I can confirm it is not listening on 1433.
Searched MSDN and can't find any else to check
Has anyone experienced this and or knows the solutions
Regards
Geoff
