MSVCRT.DLL Crash

I have W98 & Outlook 2000. All of a sudden I'm having
problems. I get an error
message: MSVCRT.DLL at 017f:7800d6al message.

I tried nfclean.exe and have reinstalled MS Office twice,

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
