msword 2000 file saving problem

Hi
I am a user of MsWord 2000. When I am saving a file,
I am getting following error.

This is not a valid filename.
Try one or more of the following.
*Check the path to make sure it was typed correctly.
*Select a file from the list of files & folders(D:\)

Could any one help me to get rid of this error.
Rest of the Office products are working ok.
