MSWord freezes when I hit "control-shift" How to unfreeze?

When I'm inside MS Word (WindowsXP), I sometimes
hit Control + Shift.

This causes Word to freeze, so I have to go
to TaskManager to kill the process and
lose unsaved work.

Is there a way to unfreeze MSWord?


Two unwelcome responses:
"Stop hitting those keys"
"Yank out the shift key"

I tried it here and nothing at all happened. (Win XP & Word 2000) Do you
maybe have some sort of macro program running that is intercepting that key
combination?
