MSWord: how to simulate vfill, hfill of LaTeX ?

T

Tom B. Redman

Can MS Word simulate \vfill and \hfill of LaTeX ?

Example of how vfill works:

\newpage
This text goes to the top of the page.
\vfill
This text goes to the middle of the page.
\vfill
This text goes to the bottom of the page.
\newpage

I'd also appreciate help on the following.
(MSWord: how to reverse B&W view of drawings?)
Sometimes I like to use "High Contrast Black"
color scheme to have mostly black screen.
(White screen tires my eyes.)

MS Word (WindowsXP) is compatible with this,
and shows white letters on black background.

... except for the drawings... A flowchart box
with text inside shows up on the screen as
a solid white box.

This is apparently a bug in MSWord. and my only
workaround is use a standard color scheme while
editing drawings.

Is there a solution, or a better workaround?
Thanks.
