Multi GX's On One Slide, One At A Time

B

BenJAMin

I have three Gx's that I want to use and would prefer to use one slide. What
I would like to accomplish is:

*One graphic on the screen only to begin with
*A custom entrance animatation is then used on the 1st gx
*Then a 2nd gx appears on the slide
*Then a 2nd custom entrance animatation is used on the 2nd gx
*Then the 3rd gx appears on the slide
*Finally a 3rd custom entrance aniamatation is used on the 3rd gx

The reason is not to have to click through 3 slides to get the same effects

Suggestions?

Not sure what Gx are, are you referring to images? Here is the solution for
animation:
1 - Insert the 3 Gx on one slide.
You can overlap them. If the Gx are of different sizes, then you can add
exit animation on each of them so they do not interfere with each other.
2 - Add Exit effect (Fade/Disappear) on the first Gx. Set the Start to
"After Previous" The default is "On Click".
3 - Right click on the exit effect and click Timing. Set the delay to about
2 seconds.
4 - Add Entrance (Fade/Appear) effect on the second Gx. Set the Start to
"After Previous".
5 - Add Exit effect (Fade/Disappear) on the second Gx. Set the Start to
"After Previous".
6 - Right click on the exit effect and click Timing. Set the delay to about
2 seconds.
7 - Add Entrance (Fade/Appear) effect on the third Gx. Set the Start to
"After Previous".
8 - Add Exit effect (Fade/Disappear) on the third Gx. Set the Start to
"After Previous".
9 - Right click on the exit effect and click Timing. Set the delay to about
2 seconds.

Not sure that this exactly what Im looking for.

I want the 1st gx to be on screen,
run a Entrance effect on the 1st gx
Leave the 1st gx alone, leave it on screen
Have the 2nd gx come on screen with another entrance effect
leave the 2nd gx alone, leave it on screen
Have the 3rd gx come on screen with another entrance effect
leave the 3rd gx alone, leave it on screen

If you want the first Gx to be shown at the start, then you don't have to add
any animation. Unless you are talking about Emphasis effect or Motion Path.

Then just add Entrance effect(perhaps fade or appear) on 2nd and 3rd Gx. Set
both effects' Start as "After Previous" instead of the default "On Click". If
you want a delay before the next Gx comes in, right click on the effect and
click Timing. Set the Delay there. Post back if you need more help.

Closer!!

The timing is good before the effect/animatation happens

However, all 3 graphics (gx) appear on the slide at once....I still need
them to appear only after a certain amount of time

Thank you!!!

If you need them to appear after a certain amount of time, adjust the delay
setting. On the entrance effect, right click on it and click timing. Adjust
the delay by adding in the preferred duration.

The 3 graphics shouldn't be coming in at the same time. By setting the Start
to "After previous", the second should come in only after the first one came
in.
