Outline codes are single value in MS Project 2002.
Project 2003 allows or multi-valued codes.

If you are using Project Server 2003, you can create multi-value resource
outline code fields in Resource Outline Code fields #20-29. In you are

Project Server 2002, you are limited to single-value fields everywhere.
Hope this helps.

Are multivalue codes only available in resource outline
codes 20-29? Can I have a multivalue task outline code?

How do you actually signify the field is multivalue? Is
there a check box or something?

Thanks

Multi-value outline codes are only available for Enterprise Resource Outline
Code #20-29 fields. There are 10 of these total. It is not possible to set
up multi-value Project or Task fields. To set up one of these resource
fields as a multi-value field, you need not do anything special when setting
up the values in the field itself. Simply open the Enterprise Global and
set up the values in the field the way you would normally do. Once you have
completed this process, save and close the Enterprise Global, then close
Microsoft Project.

Now open Microsoft Project again and log into Project Server so that you get
the latest changes to the Enterprise Global. To specify mutliple values in
the field, open the Enterprise Resource Pool and double-click on each
resource's name. In the Resource Information dialog box, on the Custom
Fields page, you will specify the initial value for each multi-value field
plus any additional values you desire using checkboxes. It will be obvious
how to do it. Hope this helps.
