Multi-page Layout Canvas?

I'm fairly new to Visio, and I'm using it because I'm modeling a database
using the IDEF1X support. I have a simple usability question, though; my
design is getting big enough that I can't fit it all on one page very
comfortably. I've attempted to add another page by right clicking the
default-named "Page-1" tab, but it simply adds another single-page surface on
a second tab, when in fact I'm looking for a way to get a multi-page surface
that I can use to design a large drawing from a single view. Is this
possible?

Otherwise, if this isn't possible is there any way to print a multi-page
document from a drawing that flows off of the 1-page canvas available by
default?

Thanks!

You can change the size of your Visio page under File / Page Setup.
The printed page can be different than the Visio page, so you can have, say,
an A1 Visio page that prints to 8 tiled A4 pages.
You can turn on the visibility of the page breaks too.

Hi bisl,

Here's another tip for simply resizing the page to accommodate your drawing:

1. Hold down the Ctrl key
2. Mouse to an edge of the "paper"
You should see some arrow cross-hairs
3. Click the right mouse button and drag the page to any size you want

Of course, this won't give you standard page sizes, but Visio will tile
your drawing across several sheets.

Go to View > Page Breaks to see where your drawing will get tiled on
printing.

This helped a great deal. I never would have figured that on my own, and I
had no idea how to phrase it in a way that led me to the answer using help.

Thanks!
